Teaching Collections

The Teaching Collections team provides an integrated reading list management and resource acquisition service, ensuring streamlined equity of access for students to taught course materials, supporting delivery of the University’s Flexible Learning Programme and underpinning the student experience.

The service covers Reading List software support, reading list book acquisitions & subscriptions, the eTextbook Programme, Digitisation, Audio-visual and High Demand requests.

Head of Teaching Collections

Strategic leadership and management of Teaching Collections team, the eTextbook programme and reading list services

Teaching Collections and eTextbook Programme Manager

Day-to-day management of the Library's Teaching Collections services; supplier and publisher negotiations, assessment of purchasing and delivery models, financial and licence analysis and all other elements of ebook/etextbook provision.

Teaching Collections Librarian

Coordination of the Library’s eTextbook programme; platform provider liaison, bibliographic and pricing data management, usage data analysis and reporting, service promotion and academic enquiries management.

    Teaching Collections Coordinator (eTextbooks)

    Support for the Library's eTextbook Programme, supplier liaison, troubleshooting queries and supporting academic enquiries

Teaching Collections Coordinator (Reading Lists)

Supports the Teaching Collections Team Leader in the delivery of services relating to the provision of reading lists and reading list resources. Supervises the Reading List Assistants to ensure that the Teaching Collections service runs efficiently and effectively with a strong customer focus.

Teaching Collections Assistants

Assistance with all aspects of Reading List services; Reading List software support, Digitisation requests, High Demand requests, Audio Visual requests, Reading list book acquisitions and the e-Textbook programme.
