Acquisitions

We consist of two interconnected teams - Book Purchasing and Inter-Library Loans (ILL) – that provide readers with non-teaching material that we don’t currently hold. Order a Book requests are fulfilled either via the Book Purchasing Team (on an e-first basis) or by ILL (who facilitate access to material held at other libraries in the UK and overseas). Order an Article and Order a Chapter requests are satisfied via the ILL team. We aim to provide material in a speedy, environmentally sustainable and cost-effective  way, via customer-centric processes, on platforms that are accessible and user-friendly, to support and advance teaching, learning and research throughout the University. Further details and request forms are available via the Order resources page.
