Launch of the Library Staff Learning & Development Hub
10 Jul 2025
The Library is pleased to announce the launch of the new Library Staff Learning and Development Hub, designed to support equitable access to learning and career development opportunities for all library staff.
Developed by the Library Staff Learning and Development Group (SL&D Group), the Hub brings together a comprehensive suite of tools, guidance, and resources to help you plan and achieve your personal development goals. It serves as a central point of access to both Library and University-wide learning opportunities, and we strongly encourage all staff to engage with it, particularly in the context of your Personal Development Review (PDR).
This resource will continue to evolve as the University’s wider staff development offer is updated, and as we expand our Library-specific training and development opportunities.
Sarah Rayner and Peter Wadsworth would like to thank the members of the SL&D Group (Paul Ralphs, Lucy May, Amin Hussain, Kathryn Sullivan, Padma Inala, and Elisabeth Carr) for their work in developing this important resource.
A feedback form is included for reporting any technical issues or sharing suggestions for improvement.
The Hub will be promoted further through DMTs and SMF over the coming months. In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.
