Research Data Management
Welcome to the FBMH Core Facilities Research Data Management website
Many departments at the University are involved in supporting researchers with data management, including the Library, Information Governance, Research IT and Core Facilities. This website aims to consolidate information and resources for data management from across the University and the web for researchers in FBMH.
What is Research Data Management?
Research data management is an umbrella term used to describe all the activities researchers do to organise, describe, preserve and share research data. Data management practices are important at all stages of the research lifecycle, from planning what data to collect, where to store it and what happens to it at the end of the research project.
