The School of Medical Sciences is led by Professor Tony Heagerty and is made up of the following six divisions:

- Division of Developmental Biology and Medicine
- Division of Diabetes, Endocrinology and Gastroenterology
- Division of Medical Education (including CHSTM)
- Division of Cancer Sciences
