The Academy for Education and Professional Development Resources and events for the New Year
Events organised by the Academy for Education and Professional Development are open to everyone who contributes to the development, delivery and management of FBMH undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing professional development programmes.
The Academy is now pleased to offer the following events in January:
Monthly Pedagogy Seminar Series: Delivering Instruction on Learning
Wednesday 17 January 2018, 1.00-2.00, Michael Smith Building, B.4208
Delivered by Dr Alison Fisher, this session will show how encouraging learners to think about their development enhances their learning. For more details and to register, click here.
Masterclass: Large Group Teaching
Tuesday 23 January 2018, 9.30 to 12.30, Simon Building, Room 4.50
Presented by Dianne Burns, Professor Judy Williams and Professor Caroline Bowsher, this interactive session will provide a forum to discuss the challenges and explore effective ways to support and learn in large group scenarios. Registration and more information is available here.
