Alex Heazell is University Researcher of the Year

Many congratulations to Dr Alex Heazell, who has also been awarded a Distinguished Achievement Medal for being the University Researcher of the Year 2017.

Based in the Division of Developmental Biology and Medicine, Alex is a Senior Clinical Lecturer in Obstetrics, spending 50% of his time in clinical practice and 50% researching and teaching within the Maternal and Fetal Health Research Centre in the School of Medical Sciences. He is Clinical Director of Tommy’s Stillbirth Research Centre.
This prestigious award is recognition for the great work that Alex has undertaken in all areas of research life in the past 12 months.
