Staff communications

The All Staff mailing list is for urgent or important emails, internal job adverts and the Library Update newsletter. All staff can receive emails from this list but a restricted number of people can post to it.

Social items can be posted on the Wellbeing and Social channel of the All Library Team on Teams.

To join

If you haven't been added automatically you can do it yourself:

• Visit the uml-staff list page on Subscriber’s Corner
• Choose get a new LISTSERV password
• Add your Manchester email address and choose a password
• Once approved, you will be able to receive emails
• If you have any problems please contact the Support Portal

Archives

To read the archive of emails login into Subscriber’s Corner and select the UML-STAFF list. The archives are in month order starting with the most recent.

Unsubscribing

When you leave the Library you will be unsubscribed from this list.

Posting emails

• If you have permission to post to the list send an email to: uml-staff@listserv.manchester.ac.uk

A small group of staff are enabled to post messages to the staff list. These messages will include the weekly post from Library Update and urgent items which need to be communicated to all staff.
