Library opening hours over Christmas vacation 2025-26

Library opening hours will change over the festive period, between Wednesday, 24 December 2025 and Friday, 2 January 2026.

Library Chat

Library Chat will be available 24/7 during the vacation period. It will be staffed by third-party partner institutions.

The John Rylands Library

The John Rylands Library will be open to researchers with appointments on Monday, 22 and Tuesday, 23 December 2025. 

It will be closed Wednesday, 24 December 2025 to Sunday, 4 January 2026 inclusive, reopening to researchers with appointments on Monday, 5 January and to the public on Wednesday, 7 January 2026.
