Library Kortext AI study tools pilot

13 Nov 2023

Exploring the Future of Learning

Student using tablet

The Library’s Teaching Collections team, as part of the Library's Our Students Action plan, is running a cross-Library 'Kortext AI study tools pilot' project.

Working in partnership with Kortext, this pilot offers module convenors for selected modules, and students enrolled on these modules, the opportunity to explore and test a variety of generative AI study tools designed to enhance teaching and learning.

The pilot is open to module convenors who use a core eTextbook delivered via the Kortext platform through the Library’s eTextbook progamme and will run from early December until the end of the academic year.

We will evaluate the effectiveness of these study tools in enhancing teaching and learning and the results will help to inform broader discussions, on the use of AI tools within teaching and learning, across the University. Deadline for module convenors to take part is 30 November.
