The Research Services Team is making it easier for researchers to find the information and support they require.

New Single Point-of-Contact Email Address for Research Services 

The Research Services Team have consolidated their various service emails and created a single point-of-contact email address. Researchers can now send all their questions to and the team will do the rest.  

Library staff based in other teams can use this single email address to forward any queries relating to the various services the Research Services Team offer (such as Open Access or Research Data Management support). The Research Services Team will be sharing further information on these changes with colleagues from other Library teams through the ‘From Enquiry to Expert Support’ project, and especially with Customer Services staff, who play an essential role in directing frontline enquiries to other teams. The old service email addresses will remain active for the time being so we can ensure that no enquiries are left unanswered.  

New Research Services Online Drop-Ins 

The Research Services Team have launched a new weekly online drop-in session for staff and PGRs who have questions about the services and guidance the Library provides for researchers. Any question is welcome whether it be about Open Access, managing research data, or understanding research impact. Staff will endeavour to provide the necessary answers during the sessions, but where this isn’t possible, they will facilitate connections to relevant experts so researchers can get the information they need.
