Library no longer issues fines for overdue loan items

To support the University community during the cost-of-living crisis, the Library has stopped charging fines on overdue loan items.

This change in approach will be communicated to students and university staff from Monday, 10 October. We are asking our users to support the Library to make this change sustainable by returning items by their due dates. 

If Library users do not return an item 14 days after its due date, we will invoice them for the full cost of replacing it. Invoices for non-returned items can be paid via the University's online store.
