Academic Liaison - Medical Education International Partnership (Part time, 0.2 FTE)

This post is an exciting opportunity to be part of the international team in the School of Medical Sciences, working on support of the international education partnerships in Division of Medical Education.

Working with the Joint MBchB Programme Director, the role will be supporting and liaising with our partner universities about student experience and evaluation. This is both ensuring that our University of Manchester joint programme students are having a good experience in our partner organisation, liaising with the partner and with our student experience team at University of Manchester; and gathering important data regarding how students are evaluating their experiences on the programme.

FBMH Teaching Opportunity: Postgraduate Laboratory Skills Unit

The Laboratory Skills unit provides theoretical and hands-on experience of techniques used in both the wet and dry laboratory environment. The aim of the unit is to equip students with the theoretical understanding and practical skills relating to laboratory and computer-based biomedical techniques to enable them to undertake experimental research in the biomedical sciences.

We are looking to recruit PDRA’s who will
1. Support the students with their theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the laboratory workshops. 

2. Facilitate small group teaching during face-to-face workshops on scientific report writing.

Each PDRA will also be required to work directly with small groups of 10/12 students. The PDRA will work under the guidance of the unit coordinator and unit teaching staff.
