Bake a cake for the Go Green Coffee Morning

19 Apr 2016

On Thursday, 21 April (10am-2pm) in The Atrium, 1st Floor, University Place

The Student Support and Advice team in the Atrium, University Place, is looking for volunteers (staff and students) to bake cakes and treats for the event for their Go Green Coffee Morning.

The task? Bake a cake.

The challenge? Bake it as sustainably as possible.

All proceeds will be donated to the Woodland Trust, the UK’s largest woodland conservation charity.

Tips for a sustainable bake

  • Use reusable silicon cupcake cases.
  • Use a vegan recipe (cut down on the use of eggs and milk to reduce your carbon footprint).
  • Buy Fairtrade, organic, free range or local products.
