Together23 Library conference: confirm your attendance and breakout sessions

09 May 2023

Our Together23 programme has been finalised and is looking fabulous.

There are three things the Together23 Planning Team need you to do now so that everything runs smoothly on the day:

1. Confirm your attendance and let us know of any specific dietary requirements

When you receive your Together23 invitation please accept or decline (no tentative responses please) and select the option to send a response (as without this we won’t be able to work out final numbers for catering).

We have opted for a fully vegetarian/vegan buffet lunch. Please include any other specific dietary requirements in your acceptance so that we can make sure there is something for everyone to eat.

Please send your confirmation and specific dietary requirements by 5pm on Wednesday, 24 May 2023.

2. Sign up for breakout sessions

Before and after lunch we have breakout sessions lasting 50 minutes each. Please check out the programme and sign up to your preferred sessions using the Eventbrite links.

Eventbrite will send you reminders for your sessions and you can also download the app so that you can see at a glance which sessions you have booked on to and which rooms you need to go to (rooms will be allocated after the sign-up deadline).

The deadline for signing up for breakout sessions is 5pm on Wednesday, 24 May 2023.

3. Get involved!

There’s still opportunity to contribute on the day either as a breakout session chair (introducing a session and helping to keep time) or being a master of ceremonies (introducing our speakers during the plenary sessions). If this sounds like something you’d like to do, please contact Laura Earnshaw.

The Rylands Awards

Finally, as Chris mentioned at a recent All-Staff Meeting, the response to The Rylands this year was fantastic, with almost 100 nominations.

Check out The Rylands nomination summaries and read all about the wonderful work that colleagues have been recognised for this year.
