My Learning Essentials New Online Resource: Developing your Digital Capabilities

Colleagues in the Library’s Teaching, Learning and Students Team, in partnership with Jane Mooney, the University’s Digital Capability Lead, have developed a new online resource to guide students in using the JISC Discovery tool.
Start to Finish: Develop Your Digital Capabilities helps them to:
- understand what is meant by digital capabilities
- explore their digital capabilities
- get help using the tool
- create a plan to enhance their digital capabilities
- access further resources to support their development
Digital Capability is one of the aims of the University’s Flexible Learning Programme and a key enabling factor in meeting the University’s strategic goals outlined in Our future.
The introduction of the JISC Discovery Tool is an important step for enabling staff and students to understand and develop their digital skills.
