Academic Development Programme (ADP)
The University and Faculty values the important contribution you make to research, teaching and learning and social responsibility and prioritises creating a supportive and inclusive environment that maximises your work and professional development and supports your career progression. The FBMH Academic Development Programme (ADP) is designed to provide training and development opportunities that bring people together across different career stages. It is delivered at Faculty level to contextualise learning with the biology, medicine and health discipline and to connect you with experts and leaders across the Faculty. Through the ADP the Faculty aims to foster a culture of engagement in reflective practice, continuous improvement, shared and peer supported learning and development.
The Programme is open to all, and you can attend as many workshop as you may like (choosing from 12 asynchronous or over 40 synchronous workshops). The ADP encompasses and replaces the former New Academic and Fellows Programme (NAP). Therefore, if workshops reach capacity, priority will be given to new academics who need to complete 18 credits and a 2-part portfolio (achieving Fellow of Advance HE or higher) as part of their probationary requirement.
For more detailed information, please see the FBMH ADP Sharepoint Site.
