PGT showcase success

Over 60 BSc Psychology students have attended the Division of Psychology and Mental Health PGT Showcase to hear about PGT courses and how to write MSc applications.

Students heard about MSc Audiology, MSc Clinical & Health, MSc Health Psychology & the newly accredited MSc Forensic and Mental Health.

David Parry organised the event with Fiona Ulph.  Students met the MSc course directors Dr Sheila Fidler, Dr Lynsey Gregg,  Dr Peter Taylor & Dr  Rachel Powell The event was also supported by the Faculty Communications, Engagement, Marketing and Student Recruitment team giving students an opportunity to talk directly with admissions staff.

Dr Fiona Ulph, Senior Lecturer from the Division said:

“The showcase was a great success and the students seemed to really appreciate meeting staff. I have already received an email from a student looking to apply for the masters!

I found it incredibly useful to hear from students about their key questions and concerns around applying for MSc courses and how important funding is.
