School pupils write and illustrate new children's book

The Ahmed Iqbal Ullah Education Trust's latest book-making project took place at Manley Park Primary School in the summer term of 2012.
Based on a Bengali tale, The Honoured Guest describes the unusual strategy of a poet who sets out to challenge the superficial values of his wealthy neighbours. With a surprising twist, this is a traditional tale that also speaks to today’s obsession with image and appearance.
As always, the children loved working on this story and seeing their artwork and words printed professionally!
