Have the recent successes of Team GB inspired you to give sport a go?
If so, we have a number of opportunities, that you may not be aware of, that are specifically aimed at staff:
Staff Cricket Club
Started in 2009 the staff cricket club plays in the University intramural league and in friendly matches against local clubs and they are always on the lookout for new recruits.

Staff Golf Society
Has been running for many years and accepts both current and retired members of staff. The societys meet five times a year from May to September and plays a variety of local courses.

Staff 5-a-side Squad
The staff 5-a-side team play once a week (during term-time) in the Campus Sport league on the 3G artificial turf at the Armitage Centre.

Staff Netball Club
The staff netball club has three teams that play in various divisions of the Campus Sport netball league.
They are always on the look our for new members so if you want to meet fellow members of staff and keep fit:

If you are not confident enough to join one of the Staff Netball teams why not join the Back to Netball sessions at the Sugden Centre on a Tuesday evening from 5:00pm – 6:00pm.
