All next week (Monday 28 March – Friday 1 April 2011) you can take part in over 50 FREE activities and events across campus! All Wellbeing Week activities are FREE to staff and students of The University of Manchester and suitable for beginners.

This is an opportunity for you to have a go at something new, take part in a sport and fitness activity, relax with a neck and shoulder massage or get advice from our team of experts about health and wellbeing.

Free lacross beginners' clinic on Thursday 31 March

Fancy a go at lacrosse? Not played since school? Then come along to the Armitage Sports Centre in Fallowfield next Thursday 31 March at 5.30pm and take part in a mixed clinic for beginners.

The clinic will be run by qualified coach and current England player, Andrew Ellison, as well as members of the University squad. You will be taught basic skills such as holding the stick, picking up and passing the ball, carrying and shooting. The session will end with a series of mini games where you can practice your newly acquired skills.

All equipment is provided by the University Clubs and Timperley Lacrosse Club. Everybody welcome over the age of 17 years.
