BBC Radio 3 Hungarian Chamber Music Series at The Martin Harris Centre for Music and Drama

Artur Pizarro & Vita Panomariovaite (pianos) with O Duo (percussion):

  • Liszt                 Concerto pathétique, for two pianos
  • Liszt                 Rákóczi March, for two pianos
  • Bartók              Sonata for two pianos and percussion

The second of a series of performances of diverse Hungarian chamber music, inspired by the 200th anniversary of Franz Liszt’s birth in 1811. This recital features pieces for two pianos including Liszt’s 1865 tour-de-force Concerto pathétique and Bartók’s Sonata for two pianos and percussion of 1937.

This event will be recorded for BBC Radio 3.

No need to book, just turn up at The Cosmo Rodewald Concert Hall.
