Advanced Video Conferencing - AGSC Training Workshop

04 Nov 2010

Collaborative video technology traning day on 18 November

Are you trying to save money and reduce your carbon footprint? Would you like to learn more about what the Video Conferencing products supported by the Access Grid Support Centre (AGSC) can do for you?

Collaborative video technologies are an ideal solution when you need face-to-face communication, but your key contacts can’t all be in the same location. Access Grid is an advanced video conferencing technology that is already installed at Manchester, and in many universities around the UK.

The Access Grid Support Centre is holding a collaborative video technologies training day on 18 November. It’s an opportunity to see their products and to gain the knowledge you may need to manage and troubleshoot your own meetings. There will also be guest speakers who will share with you their experiences of using these technologies.

If you are interested, or if you have a colleague at another university or college who may wish to attend, visit:

The Access Grid Support Centre will have an exhibition stand at the Sustainability event Focus on Travel in University Place on 17 November 2010. Come along for a demonstration and to talk to the team.
