New fair market value guidance
The University is aware that new HMRC guidance has been issued regarding the transfer of ownership and associated Fair Market Value of cycles ordered as part of the scheme.
Cyclescheme, the University's partner supplier, are working on the details of a compliant system based on this information. As soon as this is available, it will be publicised internally.
In the meantime, this is what Cyclescheme have displayed on their website:
To date, over 420 members of staff have taken part in this important Travel Plan initiative.
