Career Development Workshops for Technical Staff

Faculty-specific workshops now available

In response to the findings of the HEaTED 2009 survey, it was agreed at the Technical Staff Development Working group to pilot a number of career development workshops aimed at technical staff across the University of Manchester. This will consist of 3 one day workshops arranged by Faculty, that will be held on the following dates :

  • 29 June 2010 - Faculty of EPS (course ref: TP50EPS)
  • 27 July 2010 - Faculty of Life Sciences (course ref:TP50FLS)
  • 10 August 2010 - Faculty of MHS (course ref: TP50MHS)

The aim of these sessions will be to increase the delegates proactivity in the management and ongoing development of their own career, in the best interests of themselves and that of the University.

Each session will be led by Heather Graham from HR and the STDU adviser for each Faculty. The maximum numbers for each session will be 12, and will be allocated on a first come first served basis, so early booking is advisable.
