Update on work of Joint Review Group
The Joint Review Group was established at the end of 2008 to consider changes that should be made to ensure that USS remains an attractive and sustainable defined benefit pension arrangement. The JRG is equally represented by employers and UCU, with Sir Andrew Cubie as the independent chairman.

An update on the work of the JRG was provided by Sir Andrew at meetings in November and December 2009 for employers and unions. The JRG has asked for all members to receive the same update and you can now access the content of his speech on the USS website or download the following document:
