2008 Kilburn Lecture by Professor Steve Furber CBE on 20 June.
2008 sees the 60th anniversary of the world’s first stored-program digital computer, designed and built here in Manchester. As part of our anniversary celebrations the School of Computer Science is hosting the Kilburn Lecture on Friday 20 June 2008. The lecture will be given by Professor Steve Furber CBE and is open to university staff, students and members of the public.
