Concerts and readings from 28 February to 10 March.

The Martin Harris Centre's current season is packed with a diverse range of exciting events. If you haven't already seen our new brochure, please pick one up from around the University or check out our website for full details.

Our season of FREE lunchtime concerts continues this week on Thursday 28 February at 1.10pm with the Lawson Piano Trio presenting powerful Jewish-influenced works by Shostakovich and Copland.

The University of Manchester Baroque Orchestra and Ad Solem appear in the Cosmo Rodewald Concert Hall on Wednesday 5 March presenting pieces by Handel and Bach.

The University's internationally renowned resident string quartet - Quatuor Danel - returns for a FREE lunchtime concert on Thursday 6 March at 1.10pm with Haydn's Surise Quartet and Weinberg's Quartet No. 9. The Danels are back on Friday 7 March at 7pm with works by Mozart and Beethoven.

Saturday 8 March at 7pm brings the combined skills of The University of Manchester Wind Orchestra and Stockport Grammar School Wind Orchestra with works by local greats such as Martin Ellerby and Peter Meechan.

Our Literature Live season continues with two events in March - Hanif Kureishi (SOLD OUT) on 6 March and Helen Dunmore and August Kleinzahler on 10 March.
