The alternative lunch break: get fit and have fun

31 Aug 2007

SPORT offers menu of fitness classes from 12noon to 1pm

Make the most of your lunch break by meeting new people, learning something fun and getting fit at the same time. SPORT at The University of Manchester is hosting a number of fitness classes during lunch time.

The Sugden Centre, conveniently located just off Oxford Road, offers a range of classes between 12noon and 1pm from seven-week enrolment courses to pay-as-you-go classes. Classes include: Pilates, Salsa Dance and Circuit Training.

If you would prefer a more relaxing lunch time break, then the Well-Being room located in the Dover Street Building, just off Oxford Road, offers some great lunch time courses to help you relax and re-energize.

So, this lunch time, why not do something different and try Tai Chi for Health, Alexander Technique or Pilates for beginners? It certainly beats browsing the web!
