Join the nations’ biggest mental health conversation

Today, Thursday, 2 February is Time to Talk day – the nations’ biggest mental health conversation.

We encourage you to make time in your day to connect with team members – whether over a brew, a stroll round the campus or a chat on Microsoft Teams.

The benefits of having conversations are wide ranging and include:

  • Combating mental health stigma;
  • Helping to feel less isolated and alone;
  • Maintaining positive mental health;
  • An opportunity to educate others / be more educated;
  • Showing we care about others;
  • Creating space to ask for help and support.

What is Time to Talk day?

Time to talk day takes place every year and is an opportunity for friends, families, communities and colleagues to come together to talk, listen and change lives.

While good conversations should be the norm, Time to Talk day is a great opportunity to take a moment to come together with colleagues to chat and check in.
