Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lunch and Learn session

11 Jul 2022

Navigating the Pronouns Landscape – the first in a series of sessions to mark this year’s International Non-Binary People’s Day

To mark this year’s International Non-Binary People’s Day, the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Directorate will be running the first in a series of EDI short Lunch and Learn sessions.

The Lunch and Learn session will be dedicated to the topic of ‘Navigating the Pronouns Landscape’ and will take place the day before International Non-Binary People’s Day on Wednesday, 13 July from 12.15pm-1pm.

Director of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, Banji Adewumi MBE, wished to highlight the importance of the day with the following message: “Marking this day is vitally important for our university as we recognise the important contribution made by our non-binary colleagues.  We know this is an ever-increasing diverse community and so by having awareness raising activities and collaboratively working with our non-binary colleagues we are true to our distinctiveness in always learning and ensuring we work towards full inclusivity of all sections of our staff and student population.”

The session is open to all and will be hosted on Teams. If you would like to join, please email equalityanddiversity@manchester.ac.uk to be forwarded the invite or you can register directly in the Training catalogue at:
