Network maintenance during March

Upcoming IT maintenance may cause disruption to the Wi-Fi and wired network

As mentioned a few weeks ago, IT Services and its network partners need to perform further work to upgrade the University’s network, and as a result, there is a chance of minor disruption to all network access on campus and in halls, at some point between 6pm on Thursday 3 March, and 2am on Friday 4 March.

Another piece of work will need to take place later on in March. When we have confirmed the date, we will post an update.

Colleagues from the Network Operations Centre will be monitoring the network throughout and after the work to ensure work has completed as expected, and services have returned to normal.
