Interested in playing netball?

01 Oct 2021

We’re looking for staff and postgraduate students to get involved in the University campus netball league

After a long break from netball, we’re pleased to be back on the courts again! The University hosts a social campus netball league compromised of undergraduate students and postgraduate and staff netball teams. As the new season approaches, we would love to increase the staff and postgraduate student participation in netball.

Netball is a great way to not only get fit and enjoy playing the game, but a chance to meet new people and extend your networks at the University. The league is open to all ability levels, games are played Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at Sugden Sports Centre.

If this sounds like something you would like to be involved in, why not come along to our training sessions on Thursdays 5-6pm at Armitage Sports Centre, Moseley Road, Fallowfield, Manchester M14 6PA. The sessions are hosted by staff members who are experienced netball players. The first training session will be on Thursday, 7 October.

If you'd like to come along, please register to Playwaze and book onto the session/s you would like to attend
