Echoes Nursery welcomes Mayor Andy Burnham

Echoes Nursery was proud to welcome Andy Burnham, the Mayor of Greater Manchester for their official opening on Tuesday 24th September.
The Mayor was given a guided tour of the new modern nursery facilities, which opened a few months ago, by Zoe Hill the manager. Echoes is one of the University’s two on-campus nurseries.
During the visit Andy was presented with a number of paintings by the children and quite a few high fives – which he enjoyed!
At the end of the tour Andy met with the Echoes management team from Network Nurseries Ltd, and was presented with a cheque by Zoe for his A Bed Every Night charity that tries to make sure that no one has to sleep rough in Greater Manchester. The monies were raised from the open day, a pyjama day and an additional kind donation from Network Nurseries Ltd.
Andy expressed his gratitude for the donation and also for the “fantastic welcome he received from the children and team at Echoes”!
