University receives 83% satisfaction rate in the National Student Survey

Students graduating

The University has today received the results of the National Student Survey which show an 83% satisfaction rate and that our participation rate for the survey is 50%.

The University remains one of the most popular universities for study.  We are not complacent though and we are investing tens of millions of pounds in a new student experience project to support them throughout their university journey.

We also work with our Students’ Union (UMSU) to capture the student voice through a range of additional means.

We would like to thanks colleagues for their professionalism and commitment to supporting our students during some challenging times.

The University has much to do in terms of student satisfaction as we prepare for subject Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF). The NSS in 2019 will be another key TEF input and we shall develop a campaign that focuses upon the high quality of the student experience at Manchester, tremendous achievements across teaching, learning and support and our exceptional colleagues.
