Volunteers needed for Body Experience at Manchester Museum

20 Feb 2017

Help this family-friendly fun day run smoothly

Due to hugely popular demand, researchers from across FBMH will take over the Museum from top to bottom with the Body Experience on Saturday, 18 March as part of British Science Week for hte seven year running, in partnership with the Manchester Museum and with funding support from the Faculty of Medicine, Biology and Health. They will host stands with interactive, fun and family-friendly activities from all parts of the body, including brain, lungs, heart, kidneys and more!

Those of you who have taken part before will know what a brilliantly vibrant event this is, so do consider joining in the fun again this year.

For those of you new to the event, here are some highlights from previous events:

We are looking for volunteers to help the day run smoothly. This includes helping on the Welcome Desk, helping run the evaluations and signposting people to the various activities around the Museum. It is a great opportunity to add to your CV, dabble in public engagement and try something a bit different.

If you are interested, please get in touch via email with your name, current role/course and a sentence about any relevant experience by Friday, 24 February. Places are limited and will largely be on a first come, first served basis.
