Street food

Situated between the Student Union building and Alan Gilbert Learning Commons, this event for staff and students alike will be a great opportunity to get a taste of local and unique street food, including cuisines from around the world.

Foodie highlights include Quebec-inspired cheese curd poutine from Blue Caribou Poutinerie, a huge selection of Mediterranean mezze dishes from The Otto-Men, Polish pierogi dumplings from Olo kitchen and wood-fired pizza made in as little as 90 seconds from Mio Pizza. For those with a sweet tooth, there will be indulgent chocolate brownies from Milk Jam’s own Lush Brownies, plus mini Dutch pancakes and milkshakes from Poffertjesking to choose from.

Get your colleagues together after work to treat yourselves and gear up for the start of another busy academic year!

Tuesday lunchtime markets return in September 2016 – starting with a Welcome Week special

After a break for the summer holidays, Levenshulme Market is excited to announce that the Tuesday markets on Bridgeford Street will be returning for the new academic year on 20 September with a Welcome Week special. The markets will then run every Tuesday from 11.30am to 2.30pm until Tuesday 13 December.

Since launching at their new location, the Levy Market lunchtime specials have been hugely popular with both students and staff. With 18 traders selling the very best in Manchester street food, produce, coffee and confections, the markets have made Tuesday lunchtimes a real treat.
