Suspension of left lane turn at Whitworth Street/Oxford Street junction

From Monday, 15 August to Sunday, 4 September, the left-lane turn from Whitworth Street into Oxford Street, at the side of the Palace Hotel, will be temporarily suspended
The closure is necessary to allow essential work on the carriageway that will ultimately link into the changes being undertaken further along the corridor.
Diversion signs will be in place, with the recommended alternate route for drivers and cyclists heading from the Piccadilly direction as follows: Princess Street into Charles Street before re-joining at Oxford Road.
