University Choir and Orchestra Society needs musicians

Do you play 1st or 2nd violin or tuba?
The University Choir and Orchestra Society (CAOS) is looking for string players (both 1st and 2nd violins) and a tuba player.
The orchestra meet for rehearsals on Tuesday evenings (8.15-10.15pm) during term time at the Hulme Halls of Residence, Victoria Park, Manchester.
CAOS is a non-audition social society, which provides musicians with a space to come together and perform music to a good standard for the benefit of themselves and the community at large.
Membership is open to all ages, genders, abilities and backgrounds. New members are welcome to join at any point during the year even if it has been a while since they have played their instrument.
Our Christmas Concert will be on Saturday, 12 December, 7.30pm at Holy Innocents Church, Fallowfield. The orchestra will be playing Force of Destiny Overture, Verdi; Nutcracker (excerpts), Tchaikovsky; and En Saga, Sibelius.
