Vaganza is the University of Manchester’s new music ensemble: a platform for performers and composers to showcase new works by undergraduate and postgraduate composers within the university alongside a wide and eclectic range of ‘classics’ by the leading composers of our times.
On Friday, 27 November join us for a day of new music inspired by the theatre – both real and imagined – and its dramatic personae.
Vaganza presents the UK première of Charlotte Bray's That Crazed Smile inspired by A Midsummer Night's Dream, a classic work by Sir Harrison Birtwistle and premières by Music's student composers.
