Son of Ghana's first President to speak in Manchester

Free event organised by Ahmed Iqbal Ullah Education Trust on 25 November (5-7.30pm) at Manchester Central Library

'Africa International: Pan African Campaigns in Retrospect[' is the latest in the Lectures on Africa series organised by the Ahmed Iqbal Ullah Education Trust.

It will feature the following speakers:

  • Professor Abubakar Momoh - Director, Electoral Instituted, Abuja, Nigeria
    Nkrumah, Ghana and After
  • Dr Ama Biney - ditor, Pambazuka - a Pan-African Electronic Journal
    Fanonist "Pitfalls" of the Pan-Africanist movement since 1945
  • Maria Noble - Educationist and Community Activist
    Ras Makonnen: Manchester Black Radicals
  • Dr Gamal Nkrumah - President, Pan-African Associations & Editor of the Al Ahram weekly newspaper, Cairo
    Religion and Conflicts in Africa
