Volunteer your skills, donate, or fundraise to help the homeless

The University of Manchester Enactus Team and Barnabus have worked together to launch ReNu – an up-cycling furniture project that provides employable skills, to transform the lives of homeless people and now they need your help

Could you donate, or give in kind, any of the following items?

Paints (all colours), waxes, wood stains and brushes

Annie Sloane chalk paints / emulsion paints / Annie Sloan finishing wax / crackle glaze / clear varnishes / metallic paints - silver and gold / paint brushes - all sizes / wood stains and external wood stains - all colours

Materials and supplies

Plastic protective covers / work gloves with rubber grips / dust masks / protective glasses / blue disposable gloves / masking tape / wire wool / candles / sandpaper / wood filler / wood glue / decorators caulk / lining paper / no more nails / cloths

Tools for furniture repair and up-cycling

Electric sanders / electric drills / screwdrivers / planes / files / rasps / metal clamps / cartridge guns

Small items of furniture, homeware and mirrors

Tables / cabinets / small chest of drawers / wooden chairs / mirrors / lamps / canvasses / vases

Cleaning supplies

Scourers / cream cleansers / hand wash / kitchen rolls / washing up liquid / toilet rolls
