Dementia research network

20 Mar 2015

Do you conduct research in dementia, dementia related or neurodegenerative diseases?

An integrated cross-Faculty network is being developed at the University to coordinate, focus and optimize dementia research.

It aims to build the reputation of the University as a leader in dementia research nationally and internationally, and to enable the University to become dementia friendly, enhancing its social responsibility agenda.

To do this, Margaret Stark and University colleagues are developing a multidisciplinary dementia research strategy, informed and underpinned by the involvement of people living with dementia and their support networks.

She said: “It’s imperative that we capture an accurate snapshot of the breadth of dementia and neurodegenerative research being conducted across the University. If you work in this area and haven’t received an email from me,please get in touch.”
