The Ahmed Iqbal Ullah Race Relations Resource Centre is moving

02 Dec 2013

Race Relations Centre will move to Central Library in spring 2014

From spring 2014 the Ahmed Iqbal Ullah Race Relations Resource Centre will be joining a number of other archives from the region in the Archives+ partnership, which will be located in the newly refurbished Manchester Central Library.

The Resource Centre will remain part of the University of Manchester, open to researchers, academics, students and general interest readers, but will have much better access and greatly improved facilities.

The Centre will close at its current location in the Sackville St Building on Friday 6th December 2013, and reopen in Central Library in March. Information will be circulated about the opening in the new year. Whilst the Centre is closed efforts will be made to give access to University staff and students who are doing ongoing work with the collection – please contact the Centre if you would like to discuss this, or have any other query.

Keep in touch during closure
