Using the Turnitin for iPad app securely

Assignment marking technology can now be used on your iPad or iPad Mini
You may be aware that Turnitin released an app for the iPad in August 2013. The app supports:
- academics marking offline;
- administrators identifying non-submitters.
Before you use the app on your iPad or iPad Mini, you must make sure you follow the University’s mobile policy. This includes securing the device by enabling a secure passcode and setting the device to lock after 5mins if left idle. To do this, go to Settings -> General on your device and follow the instructions in the Knowledge Base article, Information: Using Apple Mobile Devices for University Business.
The app only runs on Apple devices, iPad or iPad mini. You can download the app free of charge from the Apple Store. Remember to secure your device before you download the app to make sure you are following the University’s mobile policy. It is your responsibility to do this.
