Learning Enrichment Fund offers support to enrich the student experience

16 Oct 2013

Staff and students are invited to apply for funding for projects by 25 October

Donations to the University from alumni and friends support a wide variety of projects and programmes across campus to enrich the academic and wider university experience for the student body as a whole.

Past projects include a new study space in the Precinct Library, installation of a recharging station for mobile devices, and renovating unwanted or unused bikes found on campus and renting them out to students. Around £450,000 has been given out to deserving projects to date.

We are now accepting applications to the Learning Enrichment Fund from students and staff for suitable projects.

How to apply

You can download the funding application form, guidelines for applicants, sponsorship form, guidelines for sponsors, and terms of acceptance from:

Projects should complement the University’s strategic agenda and should potentially benefit multiple groups of students, or the student body as a whole.

Please bear in mind that this funding is only made possible through the generosity of our donors, and, in order to ensure the University is using their gifts in the best possible way, applications must follow the attached guidelines. This funding is open to both students and staff at the University.

Consideration for applications takes place three times a year and those seeking to submit should alert the Division of Development and Alumni Relations in order that you can be kept up-to-date of submission, consideration and announcement dates.

Feedback

Applicants in receipt of this funding are required to provide feedback during and at the end of the project/activity.
