Welcome to the largest gathering of science, technology and medicine historians

16 Jul 2013

From 21-28 July, the University will be hosting more than 1,700 researchers from over 60 countries for the 24th International Congress of History of Science, Technology and Medicine (iCHSTM 2013).

There will be a series of events aimed at general audiences in a variety of locations around the city. Highlights include the UK premiere of Ooppera Skaala’s innovative 'Turing Machine Opera', exploring the life and work of mathematician and computer theorist Alan Turing, together with demonstration events re-creating the scientific experiments and practices of past times.
