Library Recruitment Overview and Processes
Although all University recruitment is carried out through the People directorate, the Library administers and processes all recruitment steps through a combination of the Executive Office and line-managers.
We have produced a number of workflows to detail the various steps and responsibilities associated with the Recruitment process. These workflows should be followed in conjunction with the Library's Inclusive Recruitment Toolkit, which will help increase the inclusivity and diversity of the recruitment process at the University of Manchester Library and which cover all steps of this process.
The Library's Executive Office is available to help at any stage of the recruitment process and should be the first point of contact for any recruitment and staffing queries (uml.hr@manchester.ac.uk).
