Our University is not able to support terms of UCU proposal – read response in full
Our University has responded to the Universities UK (UUK) consultation with USS Employers on a University and College Union (UCU) proposal for valuation of the pensions scheme.
After giving both the UCU proposal and the earlier UUK proposal full and detailed consideration, it is not able to support the terms of the UCU proposal and remain of the strong view that the UUK proposal is the most appropriate way forward.
This decision has been endorsed by our Board and Finance Committee.
