Have your say in shaping IT help and support online
07 Jan 2019
As part of the IT Modernisation programme, IT Services are launching a new online service to improve the help and support we offer to staff and students
In December we invited staff and students to take part in user experience focus groups; these sessions were full of great feedback and ideas, and we would like to thank everyone who contributed. Now we would like to ask staff and students from across the University to get more hands-on and try out the new online IT support service ahead of its launch.
We’re looking for staff and students to take part in face-to-face group sessions, which will focus on short, specific tasks, such as requesting IT help or reporting a problem. We’ll also ask participants to consider how easy it is to navigate and access the information they need. The sessions will focus purely on requesting IT help and support online and therefore other topics, such as telephone support and other general IT provision will not be considered during these sessions.
If you are interested in taking part, please complete this short survey. To allow us to keep these sessions small and focussed, we will collate all responses and then contact a cross-section of staff and students from across the University to come along.
If you are interested in taking part, but are not available on those dates there is the option of taking part in your own time. If you prefer this option, please note it in the survey to receive further instructions on how to submit your feedback.
